DAY 01 :Arrival at Munnar and all day tour (3 hours 35 minutes from Kochi – 132.6 kms)
Our executive will be waiting for you at the Cochin International Airport. From Kochi, you’ll have a scenic road trip to Munnar. Once you reach Munnar, you can freshen up at the accommodation we have provided you. Start the trip by exploring the places that truly narrates the best of Munnar. Mattuppetty Dam and the neighboring dairy farm is a good start. For water babies, Munnar has many different lakes and waterfalls, like Attukad Waterfalls and Lakkom Waterfalls or Kundala Lake. A visit to the Tata Tea Plantation will be informative regarding the plucking, processing and packing of tea leaves. Take a stroll through the plantations and click pictures in the green-covered, scenic backdrops.
DAY 02: All day tour
Munnar is blessed with rolling hills that are home to rich and diverse flora and fauna. A
trek through these landscapes promises a truly memorable experience, with highlights
such as Meesapulimala and Echo Point. You can also visit the Eravikulam National Park, a
paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, where you can experience nature’s wonder world up
close.
DAY 03:Arrival at Thekkady and all day tour (3 hours 23 minutes – 91.5 kms)
A three hours drive will take you to Thekkady, yet another enchanting hill station Kerala is proud of. Start your tour by visiting the Periyar National Park, a protected reserve forest. Here, you can marvel at the spectacular variety of flora and fauna. Quite near to Periyar National Park is the Periyar Lake. It is one of the largest artificial lakes in India and a boat ride here will assure you a peaceful time to unwind. Make sure you experience bamboo rafting while you are in Thekkady, as it is one service that is unique to Thekkady. You can also choose to visit Kumily, Murikkady or Pullumedu to spend some serene time amidst lush green hills.
DAY 04: Departure
With your lungs full of fresh air and heart full of endearing memories, as you prepare to wrap up the trip, you will surely make a mental note to do such trips more often.
